Pressure Technologies subsidiary Chesterfield BioGas (CBG) has won a contract to supply upgrading equipment for a project to use gas from renewable waste resources. The gas will be injected directly into the national gas grid.
The system in Stockport will feature an upgrading unit designed and manufactured by CBG's partner, Greenlane Biogas of New Zealand. The modular 'Kanuka' unit will take the raw biogas produced by anaerobic digestion of food waste from local hotels and restaurants and upgrade it to 98 per cent pure biomethane.
We can't do this right now.
